Vitamin B12

What is the difference between methylcobalamin and cyanocobalamin?

Methylcobalamin is a form of B12 found in nature and cyanocobalamin is a synthetic form not found in nature. Cyanocobalamin is not biologically active until it is broken down and converted by the body, which may take up to 48 hours.

Our vitamin B12 drops are in the form of methylcobalamin. Methylcobalamin is the most bio-available form of B12. Methylcobalamin is the most effective because it is ready to be used by the body, is better absorbed, and is retained in higher amounts.

When is the best time of day to take my B12?

Plenty of our customers report feeling increased energy after taking our B12 drops. It may be best to take them in the morning to get the most out of your day. However, they can be taken at any time.

What is the best way to take it?

We recommend taking 1 dropper full (2500 mcg) once daily directly in the mouth. For better absorption, place the drops directly under your tongue and hold for 30 seconds before swallowing. Our graduated droppers make correct dosing easy!
